    No point to this knife.....literally

Posted by Oldgit on 27th Jan 2018

Yup, it's a beauty, feels great in the hand, F&F outstanding, polished brass liners. Blue bone gorgeous. Pull on all blades about a 6. So why 3 points. First off the blades clash and mark each other. Second it wasn't that sharp OTB. Thirdly all the tips on the blades are round, and the blades are polished at one end and less so towards the pivot. The blade grind is even, but doesn't complete to the choil. Finally, blade play isn't bad, but nor is it tight and firm, it is a small knife so won't be used for heavy tasks, which is just as well. So at £64 it's about £20 more than it should be and I feel disappointed with it. Pretty unfair perhaps? But at this price point I expect a lot and I'm afraid it doesn't deliver. This is my Second Case knife and the other one(lock back Tribal Bone) was so much more than this. Maybe it'll grow on me as it's very very good looking.

    On The Case

Posted by Sage on 13th Sep 2017

There is just something about Case Knives that makes them very appealing and in my mind the Blue Jigged Bone with the oval red Case logo is the best looking out the entire range. The medium Stockman is a cracking EDC and over the next month I will be putting it through its paces with the satisfying knowledge its UK legal to use and carry. The Stockman came surgically sharp, all three blades I hasten to add and the fit and finish second to none. My only gripe was slight blade rub on the pen but nothing to write home about, all in all a compact, weighty, well made sexy EDC. Happy Trails Simon

    Handy

I have used this beauty to cut hundreds of feet of cardboard within a few days of having received it. It's been especially hand to cut up half a dozen apples, which is a great assist since I have a arthritic left thumb! It was razor sharp out of the box and I have found uses for all three blades. Good looking & practical,. GET ONE.
