The Byrd Cara Cara 2 Wave is incredibly sharp out of the box. The blade is made from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel and has a finger hole to open the blade one handed. There is a also a "Wave" feature on the back of the blade which enables the blade to be engaged as the "hook" snags on your pocket when taking the knife out to use.
The handle is textured FRN which provides a really good grip. This quality folder would make a superb work knife.
