Great value for money, bought this as a camping knife and its ideal for preparing food and general use. Came razor sharp and with a good quality sheath.
Forget the minor imperfections at first impression. I have put this knife through some vigorous business over the past few weeks and it has delivered in heaps. Came exceptionally sharp and just took a quick tickle to restore the edge. Used for trimming brush and shape hardwood pegs, Splitting branches and prepping fire. Comfortable and balanced, yes it has suffered a bit of rust pitting but that is my fault as I didn't apply the care needed for carbon blades. So impressed I have bought the Woodlore version in stainless steel, . At these prices and this quality. Unbeatable.
Mine is the carbon 1066 version with walnut , Arrived as stated hair splitting sharp. Sheath is a thing of robust beauty. However the blde is not finished, the mirror finish shows all the surface distortions, the spine is not consitantly square and some of the lazer / plasma cutting is still untouched and rough. That said it is a very useable knife, and nubeliveable value, So impressed i just ordered the Bushcraft from HH
