Boker Plus Worldwide 2.0 Folding Knife 18

This is the stiffest slip joint that I have ever owned. The back spring is incredibly powerful but that is a good thing. The stonewash finish on the blade is brilliant for hiding any little scratches added as they blend in. Can not recommend this enough for anyone looking for a knife and not worry about the back spring failing under too much pressure.

The Boker Plus Worldwide 2.0. A great looking slipjoint knife with a mega strong half-stop action. Comes with a cool looking and sharp 6.9cm blackwash finished 440 stainless steel drop point blade. Lovely looking chunk of metal. This makes this little beauty legal in loads of countries/places where locking knives are restricted. You still feel like you get a lot of knife to work with and use, and at a great price too. It has thick steel liners and contoured and lightly textured OD green G10 scales with an ambidextrous black washed pocket clip (I have a Boker Master Tac which I love, but I've got to admit I would love to have the scales from the Worldwide on it instead as they're so good!). A super strong spring provides a really secure, lock-like feel, even though it's still a slipjoint. It's an excellent little EDC knife. The usual quality and impressive design from Boker. Together with the usual quality service from Heinnie Haynes.

I have the original and that is a real nail breaker, I fear for my fingers sometimes and although legal doesn't look that friendly. This is much better imho, thank you Boker

There is something definatly not right with the backspring on these knives. When I first recieved it was very stiff to open and close, then it made a cracking noise and then seemed perfect. A few weeks later and after very little use the backspring broke completly and I had to return it. A real shame as it was nice while it lasted.

I am so glad I bought this as it has since became my go to edc, I have a few penknives that cost a lot more than this but I choose this every day since I received it. The worldwide 2.0 feels very solid and well made, I could not find any fault at all and attention to detail was excellent. It feels buttery smooth when opening and closing, it does have a slightly heavier pull than most other slip joints but I’m really glad it does because it equals a much stronger force required to close the blade which I feel confident has almost eliminated any risk of accidental closing on fingers. It was and still is super sharp since arrival. I love that it has a lanyard hole, it’s a slightly smaller hole but I still managed to thread a piece of standard paracord through to tie myself a lanyard for ease of removal when clipped inside my jeans pocket. The finish on the blade is really nice and the grips are very comfortable,. I really like the size of this knife as it is well under the UK legal limit so people’s eyes won’t open like saucers if you are completing a cutting task in public but it is still long enough with a deep enough belly to complete any basic penknife task you would ask of it. Boker have hit it out of the park with this model and I would not be without it as it suits my needs completely.

This knife has the strongest back spring I have ever come across in a knife. It is a bit smaller than I was expecting but that's not a criticism. Highly recommended.

Yep backspring broken. For the first ever time I am going to have to return an item to HH. Sad day.

O.k. I was wrong about the strength required to open and close this knife. I opened it and heard a snap, I thought I had broken something as the knife is now very easy to open and close. I guess the backspring could have been stuck in the middle point but I will have to disassemble to find out. I don’t know what has happened as I have opened it over 100 times. Pull is now more of a 3 than the 9 it was. Hmm…….
