Description

Super tough, super bright, superlight! At the behest of the Nordic gods, Dirk Hofmeister from Midgards Messer has created a powerful masterpiece with extensive lightness and exciting performance in the form of the Boker Plus Superlight Tanto.

The solid tanto blade made of edge-retention D2 steel, with a mythical stonewash finish, effortlessly manages the balancing act between precision and stress in the broad spectrum from EDC to outdoor. Weight-reducing, asymmetrical openings in the handle of the skeletonized knife harmonize haptics and appearance, while the typical blade thickness and non-slip jimpings at the neuralgic points offer an exceptional grip and a high level of work safety, while at the same time increasing the recognition value of Midgards at first glance. A highlight in the spotlight - Boker Plus Superlight Tanto! Supplied with a lanyard hole for attaching lanyards, a perfectly fitting Kydex sheath and a belt clip.

    Slightly Disappointed

    Posted by J on 26th Oct 2025

Still quite heavy for a knife called “superlight”. Mine also came with an uneven grind near the tip, something I've never experienced even with significantly cheaper blades. Blade geometry is thicker than I was expecting, making it quite awkward for some tasks. The sheath retains the knife well and the pocket clip is very strong. Overall I think there are better options for the money but it's not a bad knife.

    Boker Tanto

Posted by Unknown on 13th Oct 2025

Excellent little bush crafter. Hard steel, thick spine and triangular geometry make a very strong tip. Lack of length is redeemed by the tanto edge, which functions like a chisel, great for notching and fine slicing. Comfortable in the hand, balance on fore finger. Fits secure in the kydex. Perfect tool for woodwork.

    Solid chonky sharp

Posted by Jimmy on 3rd Jan 2025

Really solid big thick chonky knife that came sharp. Nice sheath, good retention, with a supper strong heavy duty belt clip. It would have been 5 stars but I would have liked the tip to be a bit sharper/ came to more of a point. Feels nice in the had with all edges nicely stonewashed and rounded over. Over all nice work horse knife worth the money.
