Bowie knives originated in the early 19th century in the USA and were considered reliable work knives. Typical for the fixed knives is the large characteristically shaped blade with usually more than 15cm length as well as a parry element as hand protection.
As a variant suitable for everyday use, the Boker Plus Pocket Bowie by Chuck Gedraitis combines the charm of a bowie knife with the flexibility and compactness of a pocket-knife. Equipped with a satin-finished Bowie blade made of D2, the three-finger knife easily masters all everyday tasks. The knife is opened by the removable thumb stud, while the stainless steel linerlock reliably locks the knife in place. The ergonomic handle with scales made of brown burlap Micarta promise a secure grip and give the knife a touch of the Wild West. The clip is beautifully integrated into the rear handle and allows for tip-up carrying. Supplied with a high-quality nylon pouch.
