Boker Plus Damascus Gent 6.5
This is a nice little knife - it looks like the kind of knife your Grandad might have had to hand for odd jobs, but has been brought up to date. The wooden handle and styling give it that old fashioned feel but the thumb stud for one handed opening should make using it easier and the Damascus blade is a thing of beauty. There's also a generous pocket clip so it'll stay where you put it but note that it is not reversible so may be in the way if you are left handed. I say opening should be easier, but the reality for my knife is that it needs a really good shove and doesn't always fully open first time, needing a quick wrist flick to open it up fully when this happens. The main cause of this seems to be excessive drag from the liner lock against the blade while opening - hopefully this will improve with wear and time but for now it takes the edge off what could be a super little knife.
