The Japanese Army Pen Knife was standard military issue to the Japanese Army back in WWII. The knife is simplicity itself featuring a hawkbill, Wharncliff and saw blade. The handle is OD green aluminium with a hole cut out for a lanyard. The blades are made from 440A stainless steel. Plus, all the baldes are non-locking and under three inches meaning the knife is UK legal carry. Throw it in your pocket, pack or survival tin.

Not great build quality

As someone already mentioned it could do with some nail "grips" on the blades to get them open. In my case though the middle one just drops down if you hold it . Vey loose and I don't think a knife whose middle blade opens with gravity is very safe

Great little knife if you don't like carrying bulky multitools then this is the knife for you 3 blades 1 saw 1 bill hook and 1 standard knife great for a survival kit or every day carry

Not bad but could easily be better

I do love this knife. It has 3 excellent blades that if you just added a heavy pair of scissors to it would be awesome. But, none of the blades have a nail nick in them and so opening is not easy because they are fitted in tightly and in addition my blades catch the bottom of the wrap around metal handle making it impossible for them to close fully but as I say they don't have a nail nick so that actually makes it easier to get them back out. Not exactly a win/win. Other than that I would recommend this for general carry and use in the garden etc.
