Description

Minimalist design with maximum dedication - a Burnley in its purest form for a boundless spirit of discovery. The US knifemaker Lucas Burnley expands the successful Barlow BFF series with a feather-light skeletonized knife, the Boker BFF Lightweight with removable handle scales made from local walnut wood.

The solid steel construction with a stonewash-finish drop-point blade made of powder metallurgical MagnaCut (61-62HRC) stands for maximum stability with outstanding cutting properties. Hard, durable, corrosion-resistant and tough - no blade can offer more performance. An elegant ricasso and prominent jimpings on the back of the blade round off the agile character of the fixed blade both visually and functionally. The designer's post tactical concept is stylishly implemented in the weight-reducing recesses in the handle, emphasizing the tactical claim as a fully-fledged neck-knife with additional attachment options.

EDC, tactical or as a backup knife - the BFF Lightweight is so versatile that it doesn't have to be tied down and is always open to new tasks. Supplied with a snug fitting Kydex sheath and ball chain. Handmade in the Boker Manufactory in Solingen.

Boker BFF Packlite Walnut Fixed Blade

Posted by Gary Ralph on 18th Feb 2026

Boker BFF Packlite Walnut Fixed Blade. This is a stunning piece of craftsmanship/design. It's a special piece!Extremely lightweight EDC fixed blade (designed by Lucas Burnley). Its got the Tree stamped which identifies It's handcrafted in Solingen, Germany. Stunning looking 7 cm CPM MagnaCut steel blade(exceptional edge retention and toughness), paired with beautiful looking walnut scales. It's a good sized knife. The finish is exceptional. Feels like it weighs almost nothing. Comfortable to hold and use. Stylish and functional Its a lovely design. Nice fitting Kydex sheath with chain. I ordered the leather sheath to go with this. Its quality and looks the dogs!! It deserves the choice of these sheaths. This is a high end piece of kit. I would definitely recommend this one as part of a collection(use or display). Awesome!

    Treat to myself

Posted by Clifton Beard on 19th Jan 2026

For me this is an expensive knife but I got it as a treat for doing tasks around the home, DIY and a nice object to own. Due to the UK knife laws I am unlikely to carry it out and about because I have a couple of specific outdoor/camping knives to use when I have that good reason to carry. This one is brilliant around the home and it's tiny and lightweight. Despite its small size, it feels comfortable to hold and the finger choils atop the blade make it feel bigger and allow more force to be applied. The blade is a useful shape and it looks nicely finished in magnacut steel, which I wanted, having used it on a Leatherman. It comes with a nice little plastic sheath and zip-up pouch within a presentation box, which adds to the aesthetic appeal. Pricey, but magnacut knives are and it is well-designed and finished.
