Andre de Villiers is a South African designer, maker, who has an almost obsessive sense of quality. Nothing leaves his workshop until absolutely perfect.
His Micro Butcher is a smaller version of the Pocket Butcher but lacks nothing in quality or functionality. It is a tough little folder which is legal carry in the UK due to the non-locking blade under three inches long.
The reverse tanto style blade is N690 stainless steel with a wide, flat ground profile ideally suited to so many tasks or just for looking at! The handle is made using a combination of stainless steel and specially selected white bone. There is also a lanyard hole at the end of the tang to attach a lanyard of your choice.

Excellent quality small EDC knife. Absolutely flawless. Fitted a wee 550 paracord lanyard which is basically just a 15 mm loop with a bigish knot giving me a good four finger grip on the knife. Made the decision to buy the bone scaled micro butcher to keep my ebony scaled micro Impi company. Now if only I could pair them up and get them breeding it would be great !!!!!!
I've been looking for the perfect UK legal EDC for a while now, and been through a load of knives and money! However, the search is now finished as this knife ticks all the boxes. Beautifully made, good steel, looks great, slices really well. The Wharncliff blade is solid for a slip joint and is razor sharp out of the box. This knife has it all for me, a small EDC pocket knife with great utility and great looks. Really enjoying carrying this knife and suspect I will for some time yet. The search is over, for now...
Any honest reviews on this knife would be appreciated . Have recently just bought the ADV Micro Impi Ebony and am now thinking of buying this knife to keep it company.
