Description

Twisted Assisted are a dedicated EDC specialist. They design & collaborate with established knife manufacturers to bring exclusive UK legal knives & gear to the market. They utilise a U.K. based talent pool, whose resources are drawn upon to make unique, collectable and practical EDC gear. Their goal is to bring a wealth of variety to the UK EDC community.

The Twisted Assisted Atlas folding knife takes inspiration from the mythological Titan who carried the heavens on his shoulders. Just as Atlas symbolizes strength and endurance, the Atlas knife represents the pinnacle of reliability and craftsmanship in your EDC collection.

The Atlas features a non-locking blade under 7.6cm (3"), making it legal for everyday carry in the UK, subject to the owner’s discretion.

It boasts a Sandvik 14c28n stainless steel blade with a stonewashed finish, offering ambidextrous thumb studs for versatile use and a unique drop-point-like profile. The handle is slightly oversized giving a firm and comfortable feel in hand, and the micarta scales have a bead blast finish exposing the weave of the canvas beneath. Complete with a robust and reversible pocket clip for secure carry whether you're right or left handed.

The Atlas is a limited run knife and comes in a simple but unique box adorned with distinctly Twisted Assisted Atlas artwork.

    Exceptional knife

Posted by Nightoil on 17th Sep 2025

I already got the tan G10 version of this knife. So good, I went for the black micarta version too. Twisted Assisted can be proud of this extremely well-designed knife. The mirror-polished liners look fantastic against the black (dark grey) micarta. And they realised that a UK-legal, sub-7.62 cm blade needn't dictate a cramped handle. This is Chinese-made, presumably. Wherever, this is quality work - way above its price point. The tan G10 version I found hard to open with the thumb stud so swapped it out for a 3mm zip tie. But I seem to be able to open this black micarta version no problem now. Back spring tension is no different so my hand must have adapted, i.e. learnt to push outwards before upwards. 14C28N is a very practical steel and quite easy to sharpen. On most knives, the high speed belt-ground, "sharp out of the box" factory edge is suboptimal. That layer of steel is likely de-tempered by the belt-generated heat. So why not put a slow edge on your knife and make it your own? (It'll have to be resharpened at some point anyway.) Get a guided sharpening system (hint: KMFS), think your way up the learning curve and take in the view from the apex! All your other household knives will then be beautifully sharp too. Extremely fast next-day delivery from HH, via their regular free delivery. Impressive, as always.

    Great EDC knife

Posted by Bill Richards on 15th Jul 2025

Very good knife which is fairly easy to open with the thumb stud (not the easiest but I have arthritis) the blade is good quality and very slicey, the handle feels really good in the hand as well, so overall extremely happy

    Great EDC knife

Posted by Bill Richards on 9th Jul 2025

I have had this knife for a week now and find myself enjoying using it more and more, it came very sharp out of the box which is great, It is a traditional opening with a pretty heavy spring which gives enough confidence using it, the thumb studs are well placed, though I find it a little heavy to open (due to arthritis) but it is managable. I just wish the UK laws would allow basic locking blaes with a medium detent instead, but the spring used is not as heavy as some of my knives. I think it is fantastic value though and feels great in the hand

Twisted Assisted Atlas Micarta Stonewashed Folding Knife

Posted by Geoff Evans on 18th Jun 2025

I hadn't heard of these knives a week ago, but I'm really impressed by the finish, overall quality, and value. The Atlas looks and feels better than many of my more expensive knives, and has an incredibly sharp edge straight out of the box. I'll definitely be looking at more of the Twisted Assisted models in the future. A big "thank you" to Nick from HH - his advice was really helpful, as usual, and he made sure my order arrived the next day in time for Father's Day. I've been a Heinnie Haynes customer for years, and their customer service has always been unbeatable.

    Twisted Assisted Atlas Micarta

Posted by Martin Hopper on 6th May 2025

Beautiful knife, fits in the hand very nicely, the mild jumping just in front of the pivot and the finger choil are very useful to prevent blade closing. The back spring is extremely strong and snaps the blade open with an audible click. My only constructive criticism and not enough to knock the knife off my current favourite EDC position. The thumb studs on either side of the are too sharp edges and cause some "discomfort" on opening/closing with one hand. Easily addressed with the judicious application of a Dremel to smooth them slightly. As always the team at Heinnie provided extremely rapid delivery, it's a pleasure to deal with such an efficient company these days!

    Twisted assisted Atlas

Posted by Adam sowter on 11th Oct 2024

Received my knife the other day and well happy, improvements I would make are the thumb push on the blade, after a day of playing with it it worked its way loose and fell off luckily it was in the bottom of my pocket. It might be worth when assembling to fix with some sort of thread lock. Overall though I'm happy with this product.
