The Higonokami Pocket Folder VG10 is a compact version of a Japanese design, a simple folding knife with a folded metal handle. The Higonokami style is a non-locking friction folder, held open by the user’s hand or finger acting on the extended tang that sits over the handle when extended.
The popularity of this design has been in its simplicity. There’s nothing on this knife that’s surplus to requirements. The handle is of folded steel.
