The sharpener is OK...I would say average at best I only got it as a temporary solution but after sharpening 2 knifes the 600 grit is already showing signs of wear which is shockingly fast and the results was OK it was sharp enough to do the job but took far to long to get an average edge I will be replacing the normal stones with a hapstone holder and some venev stones to get the best out of the system the biggest downsides I would say is the clamp isn't great even when really tight it still moves the blade pretty easily and it only seems suited to small blades not larger kitchen knives

I'm not able to keep a steady hand while sharpening so this is a massive win , so easy to use and I find myself sharpening every knife in the house lol ,highly recommend buying this if you struggle in the same ways I do or even if you want to step up your sharpening game

This sharpening device is amazing. All my knives are sharp like surgical scalpels. I sharpened our kitchen knives and forgot to tell the wife, poor thing soon found out how sharp they were while washing up Ooops. Lucky we have plenty of plasters. I love sharpening knives and find I get a better edge using this over my sharp maker.

Works on just about any blade. Harder to do blades that are over 6" or very wide (like a cleaver) but not impossible - just have to do it in sections. Quickly got used to the motion (light, smooth strokes) and edged half dozen kitchen knives in less about half an hour - it really is quick to use. Magnetic blade holder socket makes switching sides a doddle and flipping the stone holder also easy. Can\'t fault it and thanks Heinnie for next day delivery.

First of all, great service by HH, as usual. From order to delivery less than 20 hours. Great. I only have sharpened one knife so far, my Benchmade Mini Griptilian 555, with a 440C blade. Yes, it's THAT old... Long story short, 10 minutes with the Worksharp, including assembly of the sharpener (super easy), and my trusty old EDC was back to hair popping sharpness. I have 3 different Worksharps, but this one is by far the best, most effective and fastest of the bunch. For the price you can't do better, IMO.

A clever system, which works well for sharpening wide-bladed knives, though the current sharpening mediums are very limited. However, traditional slipjoints have smaller/narrower blades, which cannot be sharpened with this system without completely modifying sharpening technique. This is a pretty major flaw, which few YouTube reviewers seem to have picked up on, because they are sharpening modern tactical folders or fixed blades. If you carry traditional slipjoints, you'd be better looking at something else.
