This knife is all about the knife steel that punches way above its weight. My favourite to tool steels used in knives is k390 micro clean and cpm m4. This knife is all about the steel that just cuts and cuts and cuts and goes on and on and on. 65 HRC it just is very tough and wear resistant and will serve very well on your keys chain. It has a ridiculous amount of carbon but in a good way and it also has a lot of vanadium, molybdenum, cobalt and some tungsten. I really wish there was a full size full tang knife in this steel, I’d buy it straight away. Very refined grain structure but like any tool steel high in carbon it will rust very easy so a good coat of mineral oil is a must. So slicey too with the thinness of the flat grind. Will be buying a police 4 when in stock in k390.
