The RoseCraft Blades Elk River Easy Open Jack is a one-bladed pattern that features a D2 lambsfoot blade with a brushed satin finish, a half-stop and heavy swedging. It has Rosewood covers with brushed stainless steel bolsters, liners, and nickel silver pins. It carries the “Armstrong Skull” shield and features an “easy open” slot to pinch and pull the blade open.
This pattern was inspired by a very old I-X-L pattern and re-imagined by Andy Armstrong. Please note that wood is a natural material with natural grain. No two knives are exactly alike.

Add to BasketGorgeous slip joint knife. I was initially a bit worried about the fact it doesn’t have a nail nick. However, don’t be concerned as the design gives you enough purchase on the blade with finger and thumb to open it and it really is “Easy Open” as the title suggests. That is not to say it is sloppy. On the contrary, it has a lovely opening action with a good half stop. The Rosewood scales are beautiful.
