This is the Rockstead Chi.
"CHI" in Japanese means "intelligence".
A truly outstanding knife with all the unique qualities that makes a Rockstead one of the finest knives known to man. This knife was developed as a successor to the Rockstead Beetle knife. The blade shape is now their Tanto type and Rockstead have drawn out 100% of the function of the YXR7 steel which for this version has a DLC Coating. As a result the blade will perform the toughest of tasks such as chopping wood for many hours and still slice through newspaper.
Measured on the Rockwell scale it comes out around 67 but doesn't suffer from brittleness. It is both hard and resillient. The handle is Hard Anodised Aluminium 6063S with a Stingray Embellishment. Supplied boxed with its own unique registration number.
