The Marbles MR731 keeps things straightforward: a compact, folding utility knife built for everyday graft. Closed, it sits at a tidy 11.4 cm, with a 3.1 cm replaceable utility blade that tackles packaging, tape and those infuriating blister packs without complaint.
Marbles pair a bright red sculpted aluminium handle with a simple thumb disk opener and a dependable, fuss-free locking mechanism, so there’s no learning curve – just get it out and get on with the job. A pocket clip keeps it where you need it, and the standard utility-blade format means replacements are easy to source when the edge eventually gives up.
Founded in 1898 by Webster L. Marble, the brand has long specialized in practical outdoor tools; the MR731 follows that lineage in a modern, lightweight format suited to everyday carry and workshop use.

It has modern good looks ,a button lock keeps the blade out not sliding back in like a lot of traditional utility knives. Its the best ive ever had.
Nicely put together knife as a whole. Fills up the hand and is good sturdy build quality. You can't open it without pressing the button which is either a positive or a negative...for me it's the latter as I bought it as a work knife and I'm usually holding something else when I need it. Also the lock up is a little rocky both side to side and up and down. Overall feel is one of quality though.
