The Leatherman 300M is a recent addition to the line up. the M is for its military application . I have had the super tool line for years starting way back with the first model i would have re named super dangerous? Cut myself on that more than any knife ive owned ! This model is now using the bit driver that came on the wave years ago ! Why do manufacturers take so so long to catch on with the obvious? This tool also has a proper pry bar and also a new awl ! . I jumped at this when i saw it as this is a great tool set in this heavy duty beast ? Not just good for the military applications but good for around the home ! The 300M comes complete with a new type extender drive too with the ability to use regular 1/4 bits of any type so its versatility is endless? One other point to note is the tool has all separate washers so it isn't prone to clumping which is nice . The finish one the handles has a duracoat That is smooth and should last well ? I think that the 300M is a winner and these tools are so tough they can take use ( i use that turm and not abuse ?) that is really above the intended ? I think that at the price offererd here at HH you wont find a better heavy duty multitool than this ? A close second maybe SOG power lock series ? Mention must be made of the Leatherman warranty , as i personally think nobody matches them ?, this really is what sets Leatherman above the rest ? And also mention should be made here on the Heinne Haynes purchase experience which is in a class of its own ! To round off , this tool is totally recommended and a very welcome addition to the Leatherman line .

Great Tool and Excellent Service

A great tool, highly recommended, especially as it comes with a bit kit and magnetic bit extender. It also looks rather good in black and coyote tan (though something not to miss-place!). Superb customer service from Heinnie as there was an initial issue that was fixed without hesitation - I felt very valued as a customer.
