The James Brand Duval combines the best features of two classic knife silhouettes into a sleek and functional new form. Traditional gentlemen's knives require two hands to open and close, and they don't generally lock. With its unique opening style and it's frame-lock design, you get the best of both worlds: the ease of opening and security of a traditional frame-lock knife, combined with slimness, symmetry and beauty of a classic gentlemen's pocket knife.
The Duval uses American-made Crucible S35VN stainless blade steel, and has a frame of 6al4v titanium. The modified sheepsfoot blade shape is as useful as it is beautiful. The main pivot uses ceramic ball bearings for an incredibly smooth action. This version features stunning Sycamore handle scales.
With the Duval, James Brand took cues from mid-century design and combined them with the very best materials to create a modern-day gentlemen's pocket knife that has all of the features of a traditional frame-lock design.
