The Boker Daily Knives AK1, developed in cooperation with the young knifemaker Alex Kremer and Daily Customs, is a versatile small everyday knife that can be perfectly adapted to your own needs.

Alex Kremer, born in Fulda in 1993, started making his first knives at the age of 18, and his numerous tours through the vastness of Scandinavia are still a source of inspiration for him today. The AK1 he designed is equipped with a short Drop point blade made of powder metallurgical RWL 34, a high-performance stainless steel which is ice-hardened to 61 to 62 HRC.

The ergonomically shaped handle scales are made of certified imported grenadilla wood and are comfortable to hold. They can be easily dismantled using the torx-key supplied and can be replaced by a wide range of alternative scales developed and produced in conjunction with Daily Customs. In addition, the intricately manufactured lanyard hole at the end of the handle can be turned around when the handle scales are dismantled so that it disappears into the handle.

It is made of RWL 34, just like the complete full tang, with minimal manufacturing tolerances. This means that the knife can be adapted to your own requirements in the shortest possible time and modified according to the situation.

    Great slicey knife

Posted by Richard on 16th Jun 2023

I wanted a small stainless food prep knife. This ticked every box, light weight and easy to sharpen. I did get the after market kydex sheath as it'd more compact. The original sheath is still good though.
