Description

The compact Acta Non Verba M500 KAMBA continues the legacy of Czech history, named after the KAMBA Military Police. Inspired by the design of the M500 ANTHROPOID, the KAMBA pays homage to the original FS knife while incorporating a modern full-tang design from the Military range.

Crafted for reliability, the KAMBA features an Elmax steel blade with 60 HRC hardness and a durable DLC coating. Its 3D-machined G10 handle ensures a secure grip, complemented by a solid stainless steel guard and a sharp point on the handle's heel. The Kydex self-locking holster, with MOLLE compatibility, allows for versatile attachment to belts, vests, or chest rigs.

The KAMBA’s compact dimensions (overall length 265 mm, blade length 115 mm, weight 222 g) make it a practical, versatile knife, offering the same uncompromising performance as its predecessor in a smaller form.

Acta Non Verba M500 Kamba Fixed Blade

Posted by The Engineer on 28th Jun 2025

This knife falls a bit short in my opinion. The fit and finish is pretty good and the only part that was lacking was where the G10 handle butts the guard and holds it in place, a shim was needed as without if the guard would be loose. The handle is smaller than the picture shown ‘within a hand’ would have you believe as this hand shown must be very small. I do not have large hands, but the handle needs to be a bit thicker, and the overall length approx. 5mm longer which would give the palm swell a better fit in the hand. The finished texture on the G10 handle does provide a very good grip. The blade is blunt, so you’ll have to "stick 'em with the pointy end" which I suppose is the main use of a dagger. The tang is partially skeletonised, so the point of balance is aligned with the hex bolt adjacent to the guard. Given the price point if some additional design work was done it would be a very good knife. The Kydex self-locking holster holds the knife very firmly and without any rattle but almost a little too firmly as you must pull quite hard to withdraw the blade.
