You asked we listened!

The CRKT Pilar has been a firm favourite ever since it was launched and as soon as we saw it our thoughts immediately turned to how great it would be as a non-locking, UK friendly carry knife with, of course, the Heinnie® red G10 scales.

Fast forward to the present and here it is - the CRKT Pilar Heinnie Haynes® UK Edition! All the same features remain that made it such a popular knife in the first place; thick Wharncliff blade, generous thumb hole for opening, low carry pocket clip, perfect size for everyday use and exceptional Voxnaes design. This version is a non-locking slipjoint knife. It's extremely sharp, out of the box, with the red being a vibrant, bright red, perfectly offset with the shiny satin of the blade and metal hardware.

    CRKT PILAR U.K. LEGAL

Posted by Unknown on 5th Nov 2020

For me, this is an almost perfect UK legal knife. The action is what brings me the most joy- you can spidey flick this knife, and the double detent slipjoint system makes it so satisfying. The blade cake sharp, and the quality over all is solid. The only two things I’d change is make the scales black (sorry HH, I know red is your colour, but it’s so bright !) and make the blade a bit longer to make use of the full 3 inches us brits are allowed to carry. On certain tasks, I’ve elected to carry the UKPK because it has a bit more length. Over than that, I love this knife. 5 stars, and well well worth the money

    Good little folder

Posted by Yogi on 5th Nov 2020

I’m actually pretty impressed with this little folder. The blade’s top edge is stout, overall a lovely shaped blade and very useable. I do love the red G10 scales on the HH editions, usual CRKT quality & super fast delivery. If you’re looking for a smart, UK carry blade; pay attention to this one.

    Crkt Pilar

Posted by Sam on 31st Oct 2020

Wasn't sure from images on the Web, but hell yes this feels so well built in the hand. I was going to keep it for display but it is now being used for fishing and everyday tasks. The red is a love it or hate it, I love it.

A great version of the Pilar

Posted by Iman American on 18th Oct 2020

I own several Pilars and the Heinnie Haynes version is a great variation of this design. I like the clip better than the standard factory version. Since the UK legal version does not have the framelock feature, the clip does not need to act as an over-travel stop. This allows for a thinner and in my opinion much nicer looking and more discreet pocket clip. Other than that the excellent Jesper Voxnaes design is basically unchanged. Although this is a slip-joint, the substantial finger choil prevents accidental closure and finger injury, and the ergonomics are superb, especially for such a small (but beefy) pocket knife. Service from Heinnie Haynes was impeccable as well; I could barely believe how quickly this arrived from overseas.

Great knife, even better after one little modification

Posted by Dominic on 14th Oct 2020

This knife has lots of similar features to the CRKT Journeyer which I loved, until I lost it about 3 months ago. Easy to open close with one hand and in one swift motion, nice grip, big thumb hole for easy opening and a very positive detent when opening. Only thing I had to do to make this a great knife is a little modification to the handle scales so I could carry this tip up, a drill file and a bit of 500 grit sandpaper was all I needed and now it's perfect

    Exclusive and Nice Design

    Posted by 0Ranc0 on 11th Oct 2020

I find this version of the pilar more gentleman carry than the back frame lock details of the original version. And still the original blade form of Voxnaes Design. Great little carry. Could be more sharp out of the box. Needed a little sharpening...
