The TOPS Cockpit Commander

I had been looking for a Spyderco Swick 5 but unfortunately due to law's & What not I was unable to purchase one but thanks to HH I found this the Tops cockpit commander I know it's not to everyone's taste and I thought the same way but it was only until I held it in my hands that I found that it was really comfortable not the biggest knife but good for self defence it has a hole that you're finger can fit through making the knife very secure in your hand and it would make it hard for someone to take it from you and it's not that heavy a knife but it was very sharp straight out of the box as I found out also has a sharp tip not for prying! all in all I'm glad I bought it as it has the Tops knives quality and again the tried and trusted fast delivery from HH.

I JUST RECIEVED THE NEMOTO SAKURA HAWKSBILL ALONG WITH THIS, TWO VERY DIFFERENT KNIVES BUT STILL VERY SIMILAR IF THAT MAKES SENSE. THIS ONE HAS A LOT MORE HEFT TO IT ,AND SIZE.. THE SAKURA WITH THIS SIZE WOULD HAVE BEEN STUNNING...STILL VERY NICE THOUGH. THE TOPS COULD BE USED FOR MORE CHORES IN MY OPINION,ALONG WITH ITS OBVIOUS TACTICAL ABILITIES, WITH YOUR FINGER THROUGH THE HOLE PROVIDING A GOOD HOLD. WASNT RAZOR SHARP BUT SOON SORTED IT,AND KNIFE FITS VERY SNUG IN SHEATH WHICH IS ALSO GOOD.. WOULDNT LIKE TO GET BIT BY A SHARK IF ITS GOT A MOUTHFUL OF THESE.. CHEERS NICK

How good does it feel to have the tops cockpit commander clipped to your black tac belt u ask? How does it feel to hear that click of kydex as u free its rarified shark tooth double edged blade? Pretty good I can attest. Despite a name which sounds like a *** **** spoof of the film top gun... I love this knife. I am an avid collector, have been for 20 odd years but this is my pride and joy, and I own a few that cost four times this piece. The handle was grey but being micarta scales it takes a nice stain and oil. Black as can be now, beautiful and fearsome to behold... It's definitely love.
