The SOG Traction is an all-purpose line of solid lockbacks that are lightweight, durable, and affordable. It comes with a satin tanto blade shape.

Made in a dependable 5Cr13MoV stainless steel, the sharp, straight edge blade cuts easily and quickly. The blade locks open with the proven lockback mechanism to prevent accidental closure while in use.

It’s all housed in a thick, strong glass-reinforced nylon (GRN) handle that is contoured and textured to enhance grip and comfort. This is the one to get if you are looking for a light, reliable, and affordable knife.

Great knife. Price to performance rating is stellar. Out the box SOG sharp as they say. Absolute razor. Been put through some moderate abuse in the woods already and held up perfectly. Thumb studs and opening action are both comfortable and clean. Clip was easily reversed day one too. Only downside I can muster is the polymer handle can feel a tad cheap. Beyond that, an excellent knife for the cost.

For the money this is a good knife, sure it's never going to set the world alight but I defy anyone to find 5 better quality knives for the same price
