The blade of the MKM Root Wood is M390 stainless steel which is a powder steel with unbelievable strength and edge resistance, often referred to as a "super steel."
There is a choice of handle material; either olive wood or santos wood, both incredibly tough and very tactile. Its sleek design and Wharncliff blade make it a beautifully balanced knife for using or just for looking at!
