The LionBeat is a small accessory that is built along the same lines as the famed SR-1 folder - where the handle is a unique piece of natural material, to which the blade is attached.
It's an all-around folding tool which can be used as a keychain folder, as a pendant for a necklace or as an accessory for a pack or pouch. Small, lightweight and stylish, it's also a real knife which, thanks to its lightweight and AISI 440 stainless steel blade, is ideal for a variety of different tasks and to hand whenever you might need it.
Designer Costantino Zanda lives and works on the South Coast of Sardinia. He entered the world of knife design at the age of 16 when he came under the tutelage of Francesco Pusceddu for 15 years until his death a couple of years ago. Now designing in his own right he focuses on artisan pieces with a links to the Sardinian traditions of which the LionBeat is one.
