The Queen Easy Open Winterbottom is a large, streamlined folder of real class. At 24.5cm in overall length it has a long reach and would be a great addition to your weekend BBQ! The blade is 10.8cm long and just 1.3cm wide and is made from 440C stainless steel. The handle is "Winterbottom" jigged bone with nickel silver bolsters, brass liners and brass pins. The blade is non-locking.
The distinctive Winterbottom jigging pattern was developed by Samuel Winterbottom of Egg Harbor, New Jersey in the late nineteenth century. Put into extensive use by some of the most well-known knife manufacturers at the time, it was particularly popular as a handle material for pocket knives and table cutlery.
