The Queen Cub Abalone is a stunning little pocket knife. It is a traditionally styled folder that will be at home in your EDC pack or display cabinet. It is beautifully formed and sits very nicely in the hand. The blade is mirror polished stainless steel and locks in place with a back lock.

This penknife's outstanding feature, however, is the handle. The abalone is intricately patterned and exquisitely coloured. Brass liners and nickel silver bolsters complete the appealing package.

Queen Cub Abalone

The Rough Rider Cub is a lovely little knife. I had one called 'Copper' before, now sadly mislaid. Bought the Queen Cub Abalone as a replacement. I noticed in the photo before I bought it that the unlock button looked a bit proud of the outline of the knife. And unfortunately this is how it is and may just catch a finger drawn over the top. Have tried to sand it down but it is in an awkward position for this. The factory should sort this out.

What a lovely knife (if there's such a thing). Really sturdy, well built, solid and well finished, Excellent value for money. Put on show or use. Think I'll go for the former.
