The Kershaw Camp 10 makes a pretty awesome camp knife and
it does a great job of whacking campsite or other
outdoor chores down to size in very short order. From
clearing brush to making kindling, the Camp 10 is the
ideal outdoor and survival tool. Cut, chop, slash, hack,
split, scrape—just about any task you ask of it, the
Kershaw Camp 10 can handle. The full-tang Camp 10 is made
of carbon tool steel for toughness and wear resistance.
A basic black powdercoat protects the steel and makes
maintenance easier. You’ll like the secure, contoured
grip of the Camp 10, too. The handle has a built-in
hand guard and is drilled in both front and rear so you
can attach a lanyard either place—or both—for
carrying versatility.

    Well built

Posted by Zaf on 20th Apr 2018

Holds well. The sheath is plastic not leather yet well made. I had to make my own lanyard but this was not an issue. I like the way the handle is, holds well. I cannot think of anything negative. I recommend this blade looks well.

    Beast Chopper

Just received this new addition to my collection and got to say I am highly impressed with quality. Love the fact this new version has no logo Kershaw on blade giving it clean look and feel just says 1077 on one side small and neat. I like the weight balance feels perfect for chopping and handles are nice and grippy with good option for lanyard multi position. The case feels solid and good for all environments as has drainage port at bottom for water to be seap through protecting blade from the elements. OVERALL VERY HAPPY WITH PURCHASE AND HEINNIE SERVICE ALWAYS EXCELLENT.

    Good quality, great value

Fantastic value at this price - a solid blade that takes a good edge, and looks great. Used mine for clearing thick ivy off trees - goes straight through tough 1-inch ivy trunks in one blow without much effort. A little short and heavy for clearing brambles etc - would probably want a slightly longer and thinner blade for that. I managed to damage the edge on mine on a tiny stone when chopping sticks, but a few minutes with a sharpening stone and it was good as new. The handle is comfortable and has excellent grip, and the two lanyard holes allow a tight "round the hand" lanyard which is extra safe as the blade stays attached to your hand rather than dangling. The popper fastener on the sheath is a little fiddly, but otherwise a good sheath.

    Bit of an eye opener

Posted by Simon on 24th Jul 2017

This was a bit of an impulse purchase following some comments on a forum about the Lofty Wiseman knife (the smaller version) suggesting this was worth considering instead, and so I decided to have a look at this. Initial unboxing impression was a bit indifferent - I have never owned anything this size with a "plastic" handle, so I was a bit skeptical, but once in the hand, that initial doubt disappeared. This has been used for some bushwhacking in the rain (some conservation work path clearance) and I never had any doubt that it wouldn't stay put, in my hand, rather than going flying - very, very impressed and it's changed my thinking about the grip. This feels so much more confident than the Lofty knife - I won't make further comments here. It's one hell of a blade for the money, highly recommended. I am going to have to consult a thesaurus for some more synonyms for the always excellent delivery from HH ;)

Amazing value-best blade for the money!

Posted by Dirtbike Charlie on 23rd Mar 2017

Fantastic knife, must be the most quality steel you can get for the money anywhere! Beautifully made and finished, if it cost 3 times more it would still be great value. Very well designed Kydex type sheath with several different carrying options. The shock resistant handle is a real boon too. I have a 100 acres of woodlands and I find that even a razor sharp Kabar struggles to cut through thick brambles and small branches but this beauty has the blade shape and weight to slice through them effortlessly. Like most of us I have plenty of great knives but now this is the one which will be on my belt every weekend when I am working in the woods, and at this price I don't feel guilty about using it hard and I recommend doing the same to anyone reading this. Don't hesitate, just buy one right now, you will not regret it.!

    most excellent.

had this for a year or so now. (also have the camp 14) it is a fantastic piece of kit, for a third of the cost of a lofty wiseman tool or a chris caine tool. i have used both and the kershaw outperfporms both by a country mile. i've yet to experience any real hotspots from the handle in spite of lots of chopping and carving. sheath is excellent offering a multitude of strapping and tying options and it's ambidextrous. the bit of a rattle is easily fixed with a bit of bike inner tube. five stars.

As useful as a useful thing

Posted by Phil The Gun on 13th Jan 2017

Brilliant piece of kit. I've had mine about 2 years now. and it's done everything from splitting logs, making kindling, making tent pegs, shaving kindling to start my fire. Even cut my bacon sandwich with it. Can't fault it and I've had others which are no where near as comfortable or such a pleasure to use. And great service from Heinnie Haynes to boot. Get one NOW

    high quality

Posted by mark on 1st Dec 2016

Very fast delivery only 2 days. It is a very good quality knife for the money and I was stuck between this and the little ricky but went with this one because of so many positive reviews. I can see why, strong large blade and sharp out of the box. Vey good balance and feels good to hold. I found it to fit in the sheath fine but then it is brand new.
