    Light but solid

Posted by Jamie on 5th May 2020

Great basic little folder and sharp enough straight out of the box. Excellent value for money. Lightweight but still a good solid construction and locking mechanism. I was worried the handle looked thin, but it's very comfortable to hold and has a good texture for grip. I got this for camping to replace the last knife I lost. I went for the orange so I'm less likely to lose it! Very fast service form Heinnie despite the covid-19 lockdown.

    Good value

A very good value little knife, however mine is extremely stiff to open and you have to push very hard with your thumb. Most of the blade arrived sharp, however towards the bottom nearer to the handle it is noticeably dull. I can sort that problem out with a sharpen but I am hoping the stiffness eases up. Aside from these two issues it is a great value knife considering the aus-8 steel and the lovely thin lightweight profile. I think I must have been unlucky and received a stiff opening model.

Growing favourite after months of storage

Posted by Bruce on 2nd Jan 2017

I bought this knife last spring and never really connected with it, although it got a lot of use at first. After acquiring a couple more folders that I liked much better, this one just got put away. Recently I decided to put a good edge on it again, and while at it, remove the black coating which I've come to realise that I just don't care for. For some reason, it's like getting a new knife. I'm loving this thing now I do a lot of whittling and basic carving (really just practising bushcraft stuff) and suddenly I'm loving this knife for whittling and fine tasks. The blade length is just right, the strong tip works great for getting into small corners, and the handle is the perfect shape and length. As an EDC , I love how thin and light weight the knife is. The handle is a bit too thin for long term or hard use comfort, but for basic tasks and whittling it's just fine. After trying different adjustments on the pivot screw, I've settled on it being pretty tight and therefore not particularly fast or easy to deploy, but the blade is much more stable that way. I don't think this knife was designed to be one of those you sit around flipping open to play with. It's a simple work knife. I do wish that it had dual thumb studs though. I would probably buy it again, but I would buy the satin finish blade.

    A new favourite

Posted by Dmytro on 10th Jul 2016

This is my new favourite folding knife. + Good steel, especially considering the price + Great blade shape and geometry. Seriously it's superb. + Locks so solid you'd think it was a fixed blade + Comfortable handle material and shape, just nice to hold + Comfortable in reverse grip too + Very satisfying to just click open and shut (help I can't stop) + Very lightweight without feeling flimsy - Pocket clip leaves too much of the knife sticking out for my taste - Can't think of anything else bad to say about it. Uhm..... didn't come with a lanyard? :D

    Perfect for work

Posted by Lars Buskkraft on 10th May 2014

Affordable workhorse. No bells'n'whistles but a sturdy blade and a very good sized handle. I came shaving sharp (VERY fast delivery and 10/10 sevice from HH) but it's a bit tight to open. So far the best EDCfolder for work (forestry/ plant nursery).
