Well-made fleece jacket with bonded lining and reinforced shoulders and elbows and lots of useful pockets. I am about 5' 7" and 14 stone with a 44" chest and a 36" waist and I got a L size and it fits perfectly. My only criticisms are that it only comes in green and has no Velcro on the sleeve for a patch - otherwise it's brilliant. You will not find a better fleece than this for under £40!

Good jacket for the money

Good jacket for the money, possibly more a jacket than a fleece. The sizing is about right for the label size. I usually take a large or extra large mostly due to my shoulder width. This jacket is a good comfort fit in a large for me, in fact I can wear a thin fleece underneath , or just a T shirt. I have found it warm and wind resistant up to a point. The spec is wrong in mentioning arm pit zips, mine doesn't have any. The collar is high and warm, the tighteners on the wrists are useful. Plenty of pockets. The reinforced parts of the jacket rustles as they are a man made nylon type material . Considering that I pay £2 more for my North Face quarter zip thin fleeces, I think that this is reasonable value for money, and is useful. I would say that the colour is slightly darker than in the photo, typical Army green. The usual great service from Hennies of course.
