The I.D. Works® products are not tools you will find
anywhere else. CRKT have partnered with the best and
brightest designers of today who share a vision of
putting functional art in your hand. They are organic
and ergonomic shapes, sometimes whimsical, alway
useful. These unique tools make up the growing I.D.
Works® line. Put them to use, enjoy them, and always
remember what inspires you!

The new Eat'N Tool™ is the brainchild of New York City
designer Liong Mah. At first glance it looks like the
familiar spoon/fork "spork" combination, but Liong
has used his ingenuity and computer-aided design
skills to create a lightweight, high-tech outdoor tool.

Yes, there is an ergonomic spoon, and a short-tined
fork. But in addition, there's a handy bottle opener on
one side. The right side of the handle is ground to
provide an emergency screwdriver blade, which will
also work as a pry for opening cannisters. The large
central hole is not only designed for finger gripping,
but also keeps the Eat'N Tool weight down. Three
metric wrench reliefs (10 mm, 8 mm, 6 mm) are useful
for emergency repairs, and result in a tool weight of
just 1.5 ounces (43 g). For easy snap-on carry on D-
rings or loops on clothing and packs, there is a carry
carabiner (non-weight-bearing).

Sure a knife n fork,or a spork might be better. But the beauty of this tool,is its compact size. So its aleays with you. Scewdrivers useful too.

    2375 miles

My well travelled Eat N' Tool covered these miles. Aided me to stuff one's face when on the road rather well!

    Nice alternative to a spork

Posted by David on 31st Jan 2012

I keep this in my work brew up kit and use the carabiner to clip it to the top zip. That way it's always at hand for coffee making. I was tired of hunting for my spork which was always in the bottom of the bag! It's well made and the bottle opener and other tools are a nice addition. It just fits my bcb crusader when half full. You will struggle with a full cup though, especially with food but I've never seen anyone fill a crusader from a ready prepared meal yet!

    stealth spork

Posted by Mark b on 3rd Sep 2011

I use the black version for stealing food from unsuspecting victims in darkened eating places. Now all I need is a CRKT stealth straw and I can live for free.

    Handy & Compact

Posted by Outdoors Dad on 19th Jan 2011

I've been using mine for several months now and it does require some practice as the reach it allows is compromised by it's short length. So 4 stars as a standard spork is arguably better, certainly for eating with. But then that's only half the story, this one has several tools incorporated into one superbly made and well thought out companion and my one is never off my pack. Recommended!
