Boker Pocket Sharpener

The classic two-stage X-shaped pocket sharpener is probably the most sold and most used sharpening tool in the world, and with good reason - it is simplicity itself to operate. Embedded in the polymer body is a V-grinder made of two carbide segments and opposite, a fine V-grinder made of ceramic rods.

The Boker Pocket Sharpener is particularly suitable for carbon steels or softer blades. With some inexpensive softer steels, it is even easier to achieve an edge with this than with a whetstone or rod, which quickly throw up a burr or flip the edge with this quality of material. The tool is therefore justified wherever a useful but not perfect sharpness is to be restored quickly and easily.
