The modern Boker Plus Gulo Pro is now available in this particularly classy version with handle scales made of "marble" carbon fibre. The ball-bearing D2 blade, with an impressive satin finish, is opened by a removable thumb stud and secured by a sturdy linerlock.

This robust pocket knife was designed by Steve Kelly from Montana, who has been a member of the American Knifemakers Guild since 2008. A brass-coloured ring around the blade axle screw adds a visual accent. Supplied with a lanyard hole, a detachable clip (tip-up/r) and a high-quality nylon pouch for storage.

Great knife. I’ve read a description of ‘slimline’ which doesn’t leap to my mind but instead it fills the hand nicely and has enough ‘heft’ to avoid the flimsy feeling some manufacturers seem to strive for. My personal favourite combination of materials; D2, titanium and carbon fibre, it’s a solidly built, out the box sharp, attractive tool. The blade lacks any jimping, the pocket clip is non-reversible and it’s hardly ‘deep carry’. The pros out way the cons at this price all day long.

Would have been a 4* but the carbon fibre has a would have been 5* but there's a small chip around one of the screw holes. That's just nit picking though. Great knife.
