The Vosteed Raccoon features an 8cm drop point blade with simple but highly effective geometry. A 14C28N blade steel offers excellent, in-class corrosion resistance and toughness and is easy to sharpen. A 3 to 1 blade length and width ratio, a nice belly, and a comfortable choil make the Raccoon an excellent choice for everyday workday carry use.
The Raccoon sports a cross-bar lock that is ultra secure and benefits from a solid construction. Combined with its dual thumb-studs deployment and a well-tuned detent, the Raccoon can be opened and closed with a silky smooth action.
The G10 handle offers a decent grip and an excellent blade-to-handle ratio. The well-chamfered design makes the handle a joy to hold and the handle shape is great for both normal grip and choke-up grip. It comes with a reversible pocket clip, the height of the clip is increased to accommodate thicker jeans/trousers.
