This is the first Twisted Assisted branded non-collaborative U.K. EDC. This handsome folder pays homage to the humble slip joint in its most popular incarnation, a single blade clip point.

The Twisted Assisted Traditional Slip Joint Carbon Fibre strikes a fine balance between affordability, robustness and style. The single blade has been ground from 3mm stock VG10 stainless steel, and boasts the features that the EDC community favour, such as a swedge with a clip point. The gentle sway belly handle will accommodate four fingers of even large hands, and the blade is easily accessible thanks to a sleek long pull.

The affordable price-point establishes this slip joint as a user. A strong back-spring and a clearly defined half stop, inspire user confidence to undertake a variety of heavier tasks. The knife is supplied with a leather sheath with metal pocket clip attached.

Great knife, minir QC issues

First of all I love this knife. It’s a great knife for the price, it’s real modern traditional folder and super super sharp out of the box. Excellent walk and talk. The sheath is a great solution to pocket carrying a slip joint if only a little bulky. Now there was some WC issues, a couple of pin hole voids in the carbon fibre and some scratches on the bolster as well as a lot of play in the blade side to side. But for the price and the performance I really can’t complain

Amazing knife, crisp opening with just enough retention on the blade and the vg10 steel has the shine of a mandalorian helmet lol. 5 star *****

Verry large gaps on both sides of the spring next to the liners , was hoping to get a collectors piece , take out once in a while , use lightly and return to my collection , its chucked into my tool box now , I wont be getting another one

Outstanding folder. Beautifully made, tight tolerances and razor sharp from the box. The VG10 steel holds a good working edge and strops back quickly - it's what you want in an everyday carry folder. I've got knives in Crucible steel which are special use only as sharpening can be a pain. This knife I have no qualms about using daily, for all sorts of tasks that don't require a super-tough and super-hard steel, i.e. almost everything you'd need a pocket knife for. The action, the walk and talk, is simply wonderful. It's a ridiculously low price for such a knife. You'd better get one before the price goes up!

It’s a bit of an oddball , the design is classic with a Chinese factory feel Construction is tight and for the money it’ seems well put together. Knife arrives heavily oiled inside packaging that is very cheap with plastic bag inside another plastic bag not sure what the Tan colour knife pouch adds to the mix and the jury’s out about the TA etched logo
