Willem Steenkamp has been a member of the Knifemakers’ Guild of Southern Africa since 2007. It is an association with the most stringent criteria of acceptance. It's members therefore have to achieve levels of quality and precision craftsmanship before they can be considered for membership.
This exquisite little UK friendly folding knife has a drop point blade made M390 steel. The tolerances are such that the blade has a discernably crisp snap open and closed with a firm half-stop and a good degree of resistance in the open position. The handle is a real tour de force of the knife makers craft. It features two scales made from bronze lightning strike carbon fibre with a marbled mokume shield & pivot collars.
