The RoseCraft Blades Ocoee River Kayak features a D2 "K-Clip" blade with a brushed satin finish. It’s 2.7mm thick with a half stop. This one-bladed traditional slip joint features brushed steel bolsters, steel liners, and a steel RoseBud shield. The covers are genuine Red Apple Bone. Designed by Andy Armstrong it is of exceptional quality.

The Ocoee River is based on an original “Kayak” pattern designed by Andy Armstrong. It’s a swell-center canoe with very different blade styles than you’d find on canoe pattern. This one-bladed version is also a “bare-head” because it has only lead bolsters.

The blade is non-locking and under three inches long so is UK friendly carry.

    Excellent

Appears to be a quality little knife. Very sharp. Has a nice "quirky", unusual shape to it that I find very nice.

I Treated myself to this knife for Christmas for my collection I didn't mind the price even it was a bit pricey when open box is very small what I didn't like was the big sticker saying MADE IN CHINA for that money it shouldn't have been made in china

    Value for money...

Posted by David Eaglestone on 13th Dec 2023

I do not normally rush into a review of any knife. But this really is a little gem. For what this cost, I'm extremely satisfied. Really well finished, sharp about the box, nice even grind and a realistic and not a ridiculous pull. Definitely recommend this. All the best David.
