Rockstead Chi ZDP Folding Knife

This knife is a work of art. It absolutely beautiful with its mirror polished blade and perfect balance. If you do not want to pay extra for “fancy” scales, but want the same blade as other Rockstead knives, this is the one to choose. Really happy with it.

A few years ago I saw Rockstead knives at the U.K. Knife Show and was very impressed. Been saving hard since then and finally took delivery of a ROCKSTEAD CHI ZDP this week An amazing knife, exquisite. Extremely well made and in my opinion worth every penny. I have been collecting knives for many years but nothing in my collection comes anywhere near this beauty. If you have to scrimp, save ,sell stuff, whatever JUST DO IT. You will not be disappointed.

Id like to start by saying that i understand that Rockstead knives split peoples opinion. For the price of this knife alone, i could buy 5 to 10 blades that will do the job of this 1. I also understand that few people can afford one of these knives. So why buy one? Especially without even handling one before, and do they justify the price tag? I've a collection of knives ranging from £12 up to this blade. My most carried blade is my Victorinox Soldier, also bought from Heinnies, but i have custom blades from some very talented knife makers. However, i have nothing in my collection to match this. You have watched the video's and reviews of these blades and wonder if they are as good as people say? Let me tell you, they are. After i placed my order and the blade had been made, Heinnies delivery was as always, amazing. As soon as you slip off the sleve and open the perfectly made box, you cant stop grinning. The scales are 2 pieces of aluminum, joined by torx screws, but you cant see or feel the join. The genuine Sting ray inlays are superb and provide great traction, but the blade is beyond anything i have ever seen and so sharp im afraid of it. I tried the hair cutting test on my arm, coughed while the blade was barely touching the skin, and i left a 3inch cut, the length of the blade down my forearm. This Chi is perfect in everyway. Also, when you register your blade with the enclosed paperwork, you benefit from a life time warranty. You get what you pay for in life, and this blade will last a lifetime

Rockstead chi is a great knife , I love it , what I dont like is rocksteads customer services , I tried to register my knife for life time guarantee and free sharpening , but the web site would not except my details . So now im stuck with a knife with none of the benefits that make these knifes so expensive. Sadly I wont be saving up for another rockstead.
