The ideal daily utility knife for the pack or toolbox. Mora knives are cheap to buy yet tough in use. They use a tough plastic handle and sheath but really punch above their weight where steel is concerned.

The Mora Companion uses a carbon steel which is super sharp.

Great price for a great knife

Posted by Boabie on 18th Apr 2017

Supersharp wee general purpose knife use it all the time round the farm & the shed etc. Also nice & lightweight without feeling flimsy for when you decide to go a bit further afield. Very quick to resharpen to a razors edge. If you are in the market for a quality cheap knife-here it is!!

Don't be fooled by the price/look - it's way better than you think

Posted by Adrian on 30th Nov 2016

Don't dismiss this as a cheap quality un-charismatic knife and be dazzled by higher price promising higher quality and more bling blades. If you think you might only ever buy one knife for camping/walking/bushcraft then very seriously consider this one. I doubt you will feel you will have wasted the very modest money and you will still be using it even if you move on to other knives. So many people have these as back-up knives you know they can't all be wrong! More user acceptance testing than an Apple product. It looks better in the flesh and it's just so practical and with such an excellent balance and blade edge that I find myself, as do many others, overlooking this charisma failure. As another review points out - it's such a good price and so modest looking you're not frightened to properly get out and use it which you might shy away from with a £50+ knife. It goes without saying for a reliable, fast and friendly you can rely on HH. I genuinely don't think there is any point looking elsewhere if HH have the item - buy it from them!

    Fantastic for the price!

A great knife for such a low price. Super sharp out of the box, with a strop you could shave your face with it. I'm only dropping one star as the last 1cm of the top of the blade the grind is fairly off centre.

    Worth more than the money

Posted by Will on 28th Apr 2016

I don't know what i can add to what has already been said. I've had mine for 8 years and I still use it. I've used it on so many camping trips i can't count! Its gutted, skinned, whittled, carved, scaled, carved meat and cut up vegetables- and so much more! Worth more than the money. Everyone who does anything outdoors needs one of these! BUY ONE NOW

    Top fixed blade everyday knife.

Posted by Alex Jacob on 18th Oct 2015

Having been through a bucket of lock-knives and a world of reviews for same I've settled on this as my "free" knife for use wherever not banned. It's the right size & shape for everyday tasks (and mine tend to involve leather work at some point), is about the same weight as a comparable folding knife, is easy to carry clipped to a back pocket and has none of the compromises of a folder. But the best bit is that wonderful carbon steel blade with Scandi grind which outranks just about every stainless blade when it comes to cutting. For all of eleven sponds. I'm getting my wife one.

    Awesome knife, brilliant service

Posted by Matthew on 17th May 2014

I wanted a good knife for bushcraft as it is an activity i am starting to pursue more seriously. And to be honest i didn't want to spend too much so when i found this i was so pleased but was skeptical of the quality because of the price. After reading the plethora of positive reviews i decided to get it and i certainly do not regret it. It is a fantastic knife, comes ridiculously sharp and feels very well made. Also the handle is very comfortable and fits my hand very well. I do agree that the spine is not particularly aesthetically pleasing but it does not affect the quality or functionality. Also as i haven't spent £100 on it i am not so worried about taking it into the woods and really using it, because i know that in the unlikely event that i break it i can easily replace it. I also really like the fact that it is carbon steel. Along with the brilliant knife the service from HH was top top quality, very quick and kept me well informed.
