Flawed battery carrier

This could be a great piece of kit, but it's spoiled by the poor design of the battery carrier. AA batteries rattle, AAA batteries rattle around like crazy! Sure, you can reduce the rattle by faffing around with packing, but that kind of spoils the point, and the design should be better at this price. The outer pouch is of a simple design and of the usual Maxpedition quality. It could be used for carrying other things, though other products may be more suitable.

Battery Holder

If your like me and think £16 is a lot to spend on a battery holder - you're Wrong! This little gem is fantastic, as simple and effective as it gets - plus the usual high quality from MaxPed. The Batuca batter holders you can buy cost around the £10 in the UK EACH - and there's 2 in here, plus they fit together and then the whole thing just slides into its case. Great when camping, I have one Molled onto my backpack next to where one of my MaxPed Sheaths is holding my Torch. Great kit, I keep 2 AA, 2 AAA and 4 CR123 in here. I once used it (batuca removed) to hold my Sony Camera on my belt - worked great. So if you need somewhere Secure for your batteries, and something that will last years - buy this.

What a strong and durable pouch, yet it's weight is barely noticeable! The best way yet to keep batteries in one place and stop dead ones getting mixed up. Great service!

I had thought this item was really expensive for a battery holder until I realised that the two Batuca battery cases that comes with this cost £10 each in the UK. Also, Heinnie sells these a lot cheaper than other retailers, build quality is the usual high Maxpedition standard. Recommended.

Nice piece of Kit

Well made as usual. The battery cases have been available on their own for some time now but using this case saves you having to empty half your bag out to find the batteries. The case does fit the iPhone as well but doesn't offer any padding for protection though.
