The Maxace Sandstorm Titanium is a sturdy, substantial, tough looking knife and feels extremely solid in the hand and in use. In this version the handle is one piece of sculpted Titanium and the blade is black with an anodised finish. The blade is made from M390 carbon steel which is hard and resilient to long term use. It holds an edge extremely well so will not need sharpening very often.
The handle is sculpted Titanium featuring a secondary lock which holds the frame in place effectively making this folder a fixed blade. If that was not enough there is also a removable "pin" that is stored towards the rear of the handle. Once placed in the hole next to the pivot a third lock is engaged!
There is also a removable titanium pocket clip and large, stacked, circular, ambidextrous thumb studs.
