The Lion Steel M1 G10 is a beautifully formed knife, featuring a lanyard with a small titanium bead partly as a functional feature allowing easier access to the knife but also because it looks so cool. The sheath is shrunk to fit the knife like a glove and is hand crafted from Italian leather.
The knife itself is compact but still fits nicely into the hand with a beautifully balanced feel. The blade is made from M390 stainless steel with a full tang design so is strong and easily cleaned. The handle is simply two slabs of G10 in a choice of either black or orange.

The crowned spine, blade length, shape and edge geometry have proven excellent for gralloching roe and the steel has held up well so far. Although the sheath is better than the one on the m4 I also have, I still feel it’s the weak link in the package with some tatty sewing and a small belt loop. A nice kydex version would go with the g10 scales really well and be more practical for my uses.

This is a small gentleman style every day carry fixed blade made from bowlers m390, It has a nice brushed satin finish on the full height flat ground blade, a very subtle clip near the tip and a crowned spine for a very comfortable place to rest your thumb, handle scales are made from contoured and 3D machined g10 scales attached with a stainless Torx hardware, crown spine continues throughout the handle. Also, we’ve got a 3D machined titanium lanyard bead helping to draw the knife from the leather sheath, overall this is a nice compact EDC fixed blade, very comfortable in the hand, a nice functional size for an everyday carry fixed blade.
