These knives aren’t great. I have some degree of skill but the points on these are too broad and thick and unless it lines up exactly with the grain of wood they just bounce off. They are also very smooth to the point of being slippery in the hand. They were a birthday present to my son who is a good thrower with a CS set and he couldn’t use them either. Not recommended and very disappointed as they are a good weight.
