The TDI Knife was designed by John Benner, a former Police Lieutenant, Drug Task Force Coordinator, and SWAT Team Tactical Field Commander, Benner has more than 30 years' experience in the law enforcement field. He has developed courses for raid tactics, personal protection tactics and knife programs that are currently taught to law enforcement, military and civilian groups. Designed by an officer with officers in mind, the TDI Knife is easily mounted on an officer's pant belt and concealed behind the various gear worn on his duty belt.

It is made with a non-reflective black powder coated AUS 8 stainless steel blade that features the TDI logo, and a textured Zytel handle. Paired with the ambidextrous hard plastic sheath the total unit weighs only 0.26 lb.

Ordered this TDI as I wanted one for a while having seen the YouTube reviews. As always Heinnie surpassed themselves and got it to me in quick time. It's a sharp bit of well made kit. Very impressed by its build and style. Highly recommend it as a last line of defence knife.

I contacted Heinnie about ordering the large TDI, from initial enquiry to receiving it took less than a week it was obtained from America, thanks Nick and Julie. The knife is an ingenious design compact, low profile and feels very secure in the hand, the blade came shaving sharp out the box. The sheath would be better with the belt clip rather than the velcro fasteners as with this model. Many thanks Heinnie.

Built for one thing. It has a very fast quick draw, which I love. Normal Ka-bar build quality. Nice knife.

insane delivery!! is all I can say. I usually wait a week to collect packages from other companies but hiennie came through in a day!! Legendary. Good followup as well, updating with emails. the knife itself is just slick, just what I wanted and expected. Great size, sheath, and overall handy and sharp. Nice buy.

Fantastic Ka-Bar design

It's lightning fast deployment, sturdy, solid, great balance in hand with fore- and reverse grip. Very good "holster" with clip attachment ideally matches 5.11 heavy duty belt. Another flawless design from Ka-Bar. This guys know what they are doing.

Perfect little fixed blade.

Great for everything that you need a compact knife for on the farm/in the garden. The knife is not a pry bar/demolition tool/saw/axe/shovel. It weighs only 2 1/2 ounces, and takes up little space in your jacket pocket or workbench drawer. Just received the fantastic ankle 3 1/2" version this morning. Shaving sharp. Great blades from Heinnie.

The Ka-Bar TDI; what a cracking little package. Lightweight, well-made and with a polished razor edge. I took this with me on a trip the day it arrived and used it for preparing a fresh rabbit and although the angle ensured it wasn't ideal for this purpose, it was certainly up to the task. That's probably the last ever trip this knife will be on as it is not one that would be easy to explain away as a bushcraft or outdoors knife, but it's a great bit of kit nonetheless.
