The IOXIO Folding Sharpener is a practical pull-through sharpener with "skrew wheel" technology. With two guide grooves and a special tip, the sharpening rod is ideal for perfect sharpening of knives, fish hooks, needles, carving and tools.
Why skrew wheel technology?
Unlike conventional pull-through sharpeners that shear when the blade is pulled through, the shear is created by rollers in the direction of cutting. The two tapered rollers allow variable blade thicknesses to be pulled through and at the same time prevent damage to the blade caused by too much pressure.
All IOXIO knife shears are made of aluminum oxide ceramic. They combine the hardness of the whetstone with the shape of the traditional sharpening steel. The ceramic grinding surface achieves a material abrasion on the blade, sharpening it and reshaping it on the cutting edge. IOXIO knife sharpeners are not coated. They are made of an all-ceramic sharpening rod and do not wear out during sharpening.
