Description

The Fenix ARB-L14-1600U is a 1600 mAh lithium - ion 14500 battery specifically designed for high intensity LED illumination use and is the perfect companion for all current Fenix models compatible with 1.5 volt AA batteries. The 1600U is charged via Micro USB lead (available separately) from, for instance, a mobile phone charger or computer USB socket. The micro USB is plugged directly into the battery, saving the expense of an additional charger. The Fenix ARB-L14 1600U battery even features its own built-in LED indicators for charging / charged status.

    I bought this battery to use in a fenix ld12 as I read using a 14500 would boost the highest setting from 150 lumens to 320. It was only after I Received and opened The battery I noticed it is only 1.5 v so does not offer any benefit over a standard rechargeable AA., In fact most rechargeable AAs offer a higher mAh.. I even emailed fenix and asked them if this battery offered any benefit over an AA battery Performance wise and they confirmed I was correct and would not increase performance in any way. So if you are after 14500 3.7 volts do not by this. If not just buy a pack of enloop pros.
