Fallkniven SK1 18

I agonised for a very long time about this knife, and whittled (as it were) the choices down. I have a number of reliable Scandinavian fixed blade knives, did I really need another? But reflecting on the options for a compact 21 cm knife I considered that for just a little more I could have something truly special. Scandinavian design, Japanese super steel. Curly birch handle. It is beautifully crafted, perfectly balanced, incredibly sharp. In fact, the only word to describe it is stunning. I will post again once I have used it outdoors. Perhaps I should say that HH are the Fallkniven of customer service!

I added this knife to my collection recently and find the whole package very nicely put together the leather sheath has a great curve to its design as it widens out towards the lower section. The blade, ground and finished to perfection, with a great curly birch handle which adds to the whole meaning of this functional knife.

I have to have me one of these. it's the absolute personification of blissful knife perfection I was seeking some time ago. I own several knives from the Fallkniven stable so I am sure of its pedigree. I'm all of a sudden awash with want and desire, damn you Fallkniven, And damn you Heinnie Haynes. The child's gonna miss some meals for this and the wifes gonna be so upset.
