The CRKT Fial's story began in 2021 with a challenge to knifemaker Princeton Wong: integrate a wine key into a pocket knife. The result? The Fion, a mechanically elegant custom folder that earned Princeton Wong the best new maker award at his first Blade Show entry. Now, the Fial continues the legacy, winning most innovative imported knife at Blade Show 2024.
The Fial is a meticulously crafted folder, with a clean, refined design that lends itself to the classier occasion. At the base of the blade is a bottle opener and underneath the almost invisibly contoured lever is a cork screw. With a firm build quality and intelligent material choices, the Fial is suited equally to a Budweiser at the close of business or an occasion celebrated with an earthy Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
