Poor quality leather
The construction seems ok, but the actual leather is very poor quality with a VERY poor coating on. It is already starting to ripple and I think will soon peel off. Perfect size for a Boker Barlow though.

This Pocket Knife Sheath is an unusual design but extremely practical enabling the user to carry a pocket knife horizontally.
Perfectly sized for most standard pocket sized knives such as the Rough Rider Barlow (as pictured) which is 8.4cm when closed, the loop can then act as a belt or neck attachment.

This sheath is great for small pocket knives only but not necessarily on a belt. I use as a neck knife pouch or as a pocket pouch, which is handy to protect from pocket detritus getting into the internal mechanism.
Great horizontal sheath. Fits my candy cane jack a treat

EXCELLENT,STYLIST & STURDY. Bought to protect my Queen Sawcut & Rough Rider Classic Cinnamon Bonestag Barlows. A great Barlow needs a great slip pouch. Great construction with all seams sealed and strong belt loop. Really great price for such a great slip.
A very nice sheath thick leather it will last for years a bargain at this price it's my second one
Really well made but small, only the slimmest of penknives will fit.
I've never reviewed on Hennie before but felt I had to for this product. The trouble I have with it is it's not quite as pictured. The leather isn't as good as it looks. It's of a low grade and not what I would consider leather at all but instead leather dust which is compressed and stamped with a plasticky leather effect coating. This means it's not going to soften and age in that nice way that genuine leather does and as it seams in the photo. The stitching was a different colour. Brown not cream. The edges are finished with a poorly applied plastic paint to seal it but in my opinion this does nothing but cheapen the look of an already cheap product. First thing I did was trim that off. Does'nt really fit any traditional victorinox type folders but does okay with a neck knife. The likes of the B¶ker lil friend range. Not sure I would trust it on a hike however. Overall it feels more like a toy than something I would want to carry a nice piece of steel in. At £5.95 I only bought it to round off my basket and get free delivery so it's not put me off Hennie. Love the work they do.
Usual fast delivery from HH (witchcraft). I bought the white Barlow last week and received an email when the sheath was back in stock, they looked like a good pairing, so I bought the sheath. First impression was it's well made, but I made the mistake of pushing the knife right into the sheath and it was bloody hard to get it back out again. It's getting easier as the leather loses the factory flat shape and starts to take the shape of the Barlow, but the minute you put it on a belt it constricts the sheath around the knife. I'd say it was too small for a Barlow.
